time?

Have you ever had one of those moments where time seems non-existent? as if you've somehow gone beyond the constraints of 'time'? I love those moments. Whenever I had them, they were the closest I've ever felt with God. God is beyond our concept of time and that's how life was designed and that's what life will be like in our final resurrection. Treasure those moments because that is LIFE as it was meant to be. Lately, I haven't come close to experiencing a moment like that. If anything, I'm experiencing countless moments of how time slips past me and leaves me dumbfounded in its dust. As most of you know, my calender is usually really filled and I really wonder... why? haha actually a lot of people wonder about that. I don't know; it just happened :] Anyway, that's not really the point of this post.
So for the past few days, I really want to go to Saskatchewan during my one week break before Fall term. I didn't get my parents' approval yet. It's not the first time I go somewhere alone but still. Other than visiting a friend, I want to check out her non-dominion church. I find the concept intriguing and I'd like to know how (practically) a church can stay as one with so many denominations under one roof. My biggest reason for wanting to go though... is to experience that moment (even if it's just one, brief taste of eternity, of life) where time fades away. I want to be in God's creation (nature) and just stand there, maybe even kneeling, and observing His wondrous work of art. I don't know much about art but I know and appreciate beauty when I see it. I've seen some of the pictures my friend took for me and I'm in awe. A sunset without any man-made things obstructing that view, just a large expansion of land.... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THOSE SIGHTS. I really don't think I'm a city girl xP maybe some day I'll live in a cottage or farm :O far away from the city lights. Please pray for God to soften my parents' hearts so that I can legitly rest. I'm taking Fall and Winter terms this year too so that's like 5 school terms back-to-back.

Day and night they never stop saying: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.” - Revelation 4:8

Here's a not I posted LONG TIME ago on Facebook...
I will prove you wrong.
I can prove you wrong because, you know what, I'm determined to prove you wrong.
I have been slacking enough, it's time to get serious and show you what I'm made of.
I'm no hero but I'm no zero either.
I am not limited by your restrictions but rather my own boundaries.
I have not much to fight with but much to fight for.
I no longer listen to your worries and fears but the voice of truth.
Puppet no more, I am my own mind.

P.S. I have a midterm coming Saturday, not even close to ready and did pretty bad for two other midterms... I feel I owe God an apology. He took away so many distractions for me and yet I'm not focused. How am I glorifying Him?
